  • 18 Experimental Theses related to pancreatic pathologies within the framework of Pathologic Anatomy, under the supervision of  Prof. Daniela Campani (Associate Professor of Surgical Pathology, University of Pisa).
  • Teaching of Molecular Biology and Molecolar Pathology on the course of Surgical Pathology for the School of Specialization in Oncology (Tenured Professor of the course: Prof. Daniela Campani, University of Pisa).
  • 5 seminars at the Universities of Rome (La Sapienza, 2), Milan (Statale, 1) and Bologna (2) concerning “Use of biological systems in vitro in the molecular study of Pancreatic Ductal Carcinoma”. He also held a lesson in English during the course “Nordic Confocal & Advanced Fluorescence Meeting”, 19th-21th March 2007 in Fiskebackskil (Sweden). Topic of the lesson: “Live cell capturing (LCC) and Pancreatic Cancer cell cultures, a new methodological approach”.

PUBLICATIONS

Dr. Niccola Funel has published 63 scientific articles in indexed international journals (first name in 10 publications, including 5 with co-authorship).

He is also author of more than 100 abstracts (30 oral communications) at national and international meetings.
